The Listrak integration sends Alia popup signups to Listrak. It has 2 parts that you connect separately: Email adds email addresses to a Listrak email list, and SMS adds phone numbers to a Listrak SMS list under one of your sender codes.
š” Tip: For more information, see the Listrak Help Center
Before you begin
Email and SMS use separate Listrak credentials. You can connect one or both.
For email, create a field group in Listrak under Contacts > Profile Fields if you want popup names, discount codes, and quiz answers saved on the contact. Use it only for Alia. The field group can start empty.

In Listrak:
Go to Integrations > Integrations Management.
Set up the Email API integration with the List, Contact, and Segmentation access levels.
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Use different settings for one popup
Open the popup in the popup editor.
Go to the Integration settings tab.
Expand Listrak Email settings or Listrak SMS settings.
Choose the settings for this popup, then select Save.
You can also change these for one form in the form's settings, or for one reward under Integration overrides in the reward's settings.
What Alia sends to Listrak
Alia adds the email address to your chosen list as Subscribed.
š” Note: If an address unsubscribed from your list earlier, signing up again through an Alia popup re-subscribes it.
If you chose a field group, Alia saves these profile fields in it. Alia creates any field that doesn't exist yet.
Profile field | What it holds | When it's set |
| The name of the popup the visitor signed up through | On signup |
| The name of the campaign the popup belongs to | On signup |
| The discount code | When a reward is claimed |
| The reward's title, such as "10% off" | When a reward is claimed |
| When the code expires | When a reward is claimed |
The question's text | The visitor's answer, with multiple answers separated by commas | When they answer a survey or quiz question |
Answers to questions that come after the email step are saved too. Other values your form saves, such as a free-text field or a value set under When form is submitted, are saved under the names you gave them. Without a field group, Alia still subscribes the email address but saves no profile fields.
SMS
Alia adds the phone number to your chosen SMS list under your Sender code, along with the email address if the visitor gave one. Visitors who decline SMS marketing in the popup aren't sent. If you set a signup source, Alia writes it to the field you chose. Popup names, discount codes, and survey answers aren't sent on the SMS side.
The SMS list dropdown labels lists that use (double opt-in) or an (age gate):
On a double opt-in list, contacts aren't subscribed until they reply to Listrak's confirmation text.
On an age-gated list, Listrak may reject new contacts, because Alia doesn't send a birthday. Avoid age-gated lists for popup signups.
When contacts reach Listrak
By default, a form subscribes the visitor as soon as they submit it. If a form's Immediately subscribe users to CRMs setting is off, Alia waits until the visitor submits another form, claims a reward, or is inactive for about 3 minutes.
Test your survey answers
Open your store in a private browser window and sign up through the popup with an email address you haven't used before.
Answer the survey or quiz questions, including any that come after the email step.
In Listrak, open your field group under Contacts > Profile Fields and check for a field for each question, plus
Alia popupandAlia campaign.Find your test contact and check that their answers are saved.
Show different steps to people already subscribed
A form can show different steps to visitors who were already subscribed in Listrak. In the form's after-submit settings, use Branch if user is already... > Listrak user > Email already subscribed or SMS already subscribed. This only works when Immediately subscribe users to CRMs is on for that form.
š” Tip: When you A/B test a popup, give each version its own Signup source in its Integration settings tab, so you can compare them in Listrak. Keep each value within the field's length limit, shown under Signup source field, or the versions can end up looking the same.
Frequently asked questions
The Listrak card says "No lists configured." What do I do?
Your credentials were accepted, but the lists haven't been chosen. Select Edit, choose a List ID for email, or a Sender code and SMS list for SMS, then select Save.
I pasted my credentials but can't see my lists. Why?
Listrak shows your lists only after it accepts the credentials. Select Save first. The window stays open and the pickers appear.
Do I need to create a profile field for every quiz question?
No. Choose a field group, and Alia creates one field per question, named after the question text. If you reword a question, newer answers go to a new field.
I chose a field group. Why don't older contacts have answers?
Alia only saves answers for signups after you choose a field group. Past signups aren't updated.
Popup names and quiz answers aren't on the contact. What should I check?
On the email side, check that a Field Group ID is chosen. On the SMS side, Alia only writes the signup source, so look on the email contact instead.
My SMS subscribers aren't showing as subscribed. Why?
If the SMS list uses double opt-in, contacts stay pending until they reply to Listrak's confirmation text. Branches on SMS already subscribed won't match them either.
I changed the sender code for one popup, and now nothing is sent. Why?
Lists and profile fields belong to one sender code. Under that popup's Listrak SMS settings, choose its SMS list again, and its Signup source field if you use one.
A returning visitor went to a different list than my popup's. Why?
A popup's Integration settings apply the first time a visitor is sent to Listrak. A visitor who signed up through another popup earlier keeps that popup's settings. Settings chosen on a form or a reward apply every time.
