Moving to a new Shopify store? Install Alia on the new store, reconnect your integrations, and our team will copy your popups over for you.
Alia is tied to the Shopify store you installed it on, so a new store needs its own Alia account. You don't have to rebuild your popups. Once your new store is set up, our team copies your campaigns and popups from your old account into the new one.
đĄ Note: Keep Alia installed on your old store until we confirm everything has moved. We copy your popups from the old account, so uninstalling early can stop the transfer.
Install Alia on your new store
From your new store's Shopify admin:
Install Alia from the Shopify App Store.
Embed Alia in your new store's theme.

Reconnect your integrations
Integrations belong to the account they were connected in, so they don't carry over to your new store.
In your new Alia account, connect the same tools you used before, such as Klaviyo or Postscript. Use the same lists and settings as your old account so your popups send signups to the right place after the move.
Ask us to copy your popups
When Alia is installed and your integrations are connected, start a chat with us. Include both your old and new store URLs so we can find each account. We'll copy your campaigns and popups from your old account into your new one, so everything matches what you had before. We'll let you know when the transfer is done.
Finish the move
After we confirm your popups have moved:
In your new Alia account, go to Campaigns and review your campaigns and popups.
We move your billing plan over to your new store.
Uninstall Alia from your old Shopify store to stop billing there. Alia deletes your old store's stats and signups within 30 days of uninstalling, so save anything you want to keep first.

Can you transfer my existing Alia account to my new store?
No. Your Alia account is tied to your Shopify store for billing and setup, so each store needs its own account. Your popups can still be copied over, so you won't start from scratch.
Do I need to redesign my popups?
No. Once your new store is set up, we copy your campaigns and popups into your new account for you.
When does billing stop on my old store?
Billing on your old store stops when you uninstall Alia from it. Wait until we confirm the move before you uninstall. For more on how billing works, see How Alia pricing and billing work.
What happens to my old store's stats and signups?
We copy your campaigns and popups to your new store, but not your old store's stats, signups, or order history. After you uninstall Alia from your old store, Alia deletes that data within 30 days. Save any stats you want to keep before you uninstall. Your subscribers stay in your email and SMS tools, such as Klaviyo or Postscript.
