Once your Magento store is connected, Alia receives its orders and credits each one to the visitor and campaign behind it, the same way it does for Shopify stores. Your revenue and conversion stats in Alia include these orders. Profit and margin stats aren't available for Magento stores yet, because Alia doesn't receive product costs from Magento.
Which orders count
Alia counts orders placed after you connected your store. Orders from before you connected aren't imported.
An order counts once it's Processing or Complete. Orders paid by an offline method, like bank transfer, check or money order, cash on delivery, or purchase order, count as soon as they're placed. Orders that are pending payment, under payment review, or canceled don't count.
New orders usually show up in Alia within a few minutes. If you edit an order in Magento, Alia counts it once, in place of the original.
đĄNote: Refunds and cancellations made after an order counts aren't removed from your stats, the same as on Shopify.
If you see an "orders delayed" banner
This banner means Alia hasn't heard from your Magento store in over 30 minutes. Alia's module sends your orders using Magento's cron, so check that:
Your store's cron is running.
The Alia module is up to date.
Your popups and discounts keep working while orders are delayed. Once cron is running again, the module catches up on orders it missed.
Cookies
To credit orders to the right visitor, Alia sets one first-party cookie on your Magento storefront, alia_visitor. It holds the visitor's anonymous Alia ID and lasts one year. Alia only sets it when your consent settings allow tracking, and removes it on visits where tracking isn't allowed. If you list cookies in your cookie banner or privacy policy, include this one. For more on consent settings, see How to require consent to track visitors.
