Quick answers
Store owner or staff with Shopify access? Log in through Shopify using Try the Alia app by hovering over the store menu in the top-right corner of the Alia app.

Logging in to the web app for the first time
If you already have access to Alia in your Shopify admin, this is the fastest way in. We recommend it for store owners and staff.
In your Shopify admin, open the Alia app.
Hover over the store menu in the top-right corner of the Alia app.
Click Try the Alia app.
You will receive a popup saying your access is ready. Click Open the Alia app to continue.
Follow the login steps. You'll receive an email invite to confirm your account.
đĄ Note: Agency partners who already have staff access to the store in Shopify can use these same steps. This gives them their own login for that store.
Other ways to get access
Don't have access to Alia in Shopify? You can still get into the web app in any of these ways:
A teammate invites you. Anyone on your team who already has Admin access can invite you by email. See Inviting your team below.
Your agency invites you. If your agency partner already manages your Alia account, they can invite you directly.
Alia Support invites you. If none of the above work, contact Alia Support and we'll send you an invite.
Giving your agency partner access
There are three ways to give an agency partner or affiliate access to your Alia account. We recommend shared access.
Option 1: Shared access (recommended)
Shared access connects your agency's organization to your store. Everyone at the agency gets ongoing access, so you don't need to invite each person one by one.
Log in to the Alia web app.
In the left-hand panel, go to Org > Shared Access.
Click Grant access and choose an access level (Viewer, Editor, or Admin).
Shared access is currently available only for the agency or affiliate partner that referred you to Alia. Sharing with other organizations may be added in the future.
Option 2: Invite an individual
If shared access isn't an option, invite the partner as an individual member using just their email address. Follow the steps in Inviting your team below.
Option 3: The partner logs in through Shopify
If your agency partner already has staff access to your store in Shopify, they can log in to the web app themselves using Try the Alia app (see Logging in to the web app for the first time above). This is a personal login for that person only, not shared access for their whole agency.

Inviting your team
Any member with the Admin role can invite others to the web app. This works for your own staff and for an agency partner you want to add as an individual.
Log in to the Alia web app.
In the left-hand panel, go to Org > Members.
Enter the person's email address and choose a role (Admin or User).
Send the invite. They'll get an email with steps to log in.
Agency partners who manage your account can also invite members of your team, as long as they have permission to manage members.
Access levels explained
Alia has two kinds of access, each with its own roles. Members are individual people you invite by email. Shared access connects a whole partner organization to your store.

Which should I choose?
Pick the lowest level that lets someone do their job. For example, choose Viewer for a partner who only reports on results, and Editor for a partner who builds and edits your campaigns.

My store isn't on Shopify. How do I get access?
Contact Alia Support. We'll invite you and your team to the web app directly.
What's the difference between an Admin member and a shared access Admin?
An Admin member is one person you invited by email. A shared access Admin is a whole partner organization that can view, edit, and manage your members and their roles.
Can I give shared access to any agency?
Not yet. Shared access is currently limited to the partner that referred you to Alia. For any other agency, invite their team members individually.
I didn't get my invite email.
Check your spam or promotions folder. If you don't see it, ask the person who invited you to resend it, or contact Alia support.
How do I remove someone's access?
Go to Org > Members for individuals or Org > Shared Access for partner organizations, and update their access there.
