Lia can build a complete popup for you from a short description. She reads your store to match your branding, places one of Alia’s templates, sets up the steps, and creates the reward. You can describe exactly what you want, or leave the description empty and let Lia choose.
Build a popup with Lia
In Alia, go to Campaigns and select Create.
Enter a name for your campaign, then open it.
On the Choose a template step, select building with Lia.
On the Let’s build your popup screen, describe the popup you want. To include your own images or fonts, select + and upload them. You can also leave the box empty.
Select Build it.
Wait while Lia builds your popup. The screen shows what she’s working on, such as Looking around your store or Choosing a design.
When Lia finishes, your popup opens in the popup editor. Read her summary in the Lia chat panel to see which defaults she used.
To build the popup yourself instead, select or build it from scratch on the Let’s build your popup screen.
💡 Tip: A build can take a few minutes. You can leave the page, refresh, or close the tab. Lia keeps building, and your popup will be waiting when you come back.
What Lia does when she builds
Lia takes the look of your popup from your store and the behavior from your description.
Branding: She reads your store’s public pages for your logo, colors, fonts, and product photos, and applies them to the popup.
Design: She places one of Alia’s templates and fills it with your branding.
Reward: She creates the reward your popup offers, such as a discount code.
Review: She checks every step on mobile and desktop and fixes anything that looks broken before she finishes.
Lia doesn’t ask follow-up questions while she builds. When your description leaves something out, she uses these defaults and tells you which ones she used.

Tips for better results
Describe the behavior, not the look. Lia takes your branding from your store. Spend your words on what the popup should do: the offer, any minimum order, which contact info to collect, the game, and the tone.
Be specific about the offer. “15% off orders over $50, email only” gets you closer on the first try than “a discount popup.”
Attach your own images or fonts. To use a specific product photo, lifestyle image, or font, select + and choose Upload file or Choose from image library. You can also paste an image into the box.
Use High for more complex builds. For a popup with several steps or detailed instructions, select High before you select Build it. It’s slower but more thorough.
Check your branding first. If your logo or colors look wrong on the Brand page, fix that before you build. Lia uses what’s there.
Refine after the build. Lia’s first version is a starting point. Ask her for changes in the chat panel, such as “make the headline shorter” or “use our green for the button.”
Review and publish your popup
Lia’s changes are saved to your popup as soon as she finishes. Before you publish, ask Lia to check your popup: open the Publish dropdown and select Review popup, or ask her in the chat panel, for example “Check this popup for consistency before I publish it.” She flags mismatched offers and other inconsistencies across your steps and floating button. Then preview the popup on mobile and desktop, and confirm the reward and triggers are what you want. See How to check your popup before you publish.

FAQ
Do I need to write a description?
No. Select Build it with the box empty, and Lia builds a popup that suits your store using her defaults.
Can I leave the page while Lia is building?
Yes. Lia keeps building if you leave, refresh, or close the tab. Your popup will be waiting when you come back.
I opened Build with Lia, but it sent me to the popup editor. Why?
Lia only builds into an empty popup. If your popup already has content, Alia opens the popup editor instead. To make changes there, ask Lia in the chat panel.
Lia’s popup doesn’t use my logo, colors, or fonts. What should I check?
Your site’s bot protection may be blocking Lia from reading your store. See Lia isn’t picking up my site’s branding.
The build stopped before it finished. What should I do?
If a build doesn’t finish, Lia clears the popup so you can start again. Select Build it again, or build the popup from scratch.
